  • 1. The meters supplied by GRC Revenue Management are not primary meters from the municipality/Eskom but private sub meters which assist in revenue collection for the electricity or water consumed by the tenants on my property
  • 2. Customers will still receive a post-paid supply authority account for the bulk point, if use is made of a conventional meter
  • 3. GRC will refund monies from token sales into the clients nominated account.
  • 4. Meter Readings shown on the supply authority account and the money collected from the prepaid meter may differ due to factors such as estimated readings by the supply authority or different billing dates by the supply authority and the prepaid vouchers purchases. For this reason GRC Revenue will only refund the ammount which it collects from token purchases less the agreed transaction fees.
  • 5. 13% excluding VAT transaction fee of your puchase made from vendors are charged by GRC *Note: Although above applies, if 13% plus VAT is less than R46.00 the minimum Charge will be R 46 incl.
  • 6. Sales reports are generated from the 21st of a month to the 20th of the following month, & will be e-mailed to the landlord
  • 7. The owner will need to verify from this report that all meters are still operating and have not been tampered with.
  • 8. The owner will need to verify the purchase tariffs against tariffs received from GRC when sales report is received.
  • 9. GRC pays the funds collected into the owners nominated account within the first week of each month.
  • 10. Prepaid meters carry a one year warranty, provided they have not been tampered with.
  • 11. In the event of abuse, tampering or unauthorised re-connection the owner of the meter must authorize the issuing of a tamper code
  • 12. The owner responsible to see that the electricity installation in each unit has a COC and that it is according to standards and safe
  • 13. GRC subsidized the meters for 5 Year Contract.
  • 14. The owner will have the meters checked regularly for tampering
  • 15. GRC provides only telephonic frontline services call outs will be charged for accoring to relevant rates
  • 16. Abortive calls will be charged accordingly to relevant rates
  • 17. GRC can assist with a tariff calculation & recommendation, based on the information received, however the tariff charged is the responsibility of the owner, If the owner receives too much income a tariff adjustment should be made and vice versa.
